Restaurant Kjøkkenet, the best restaurant in Svolvær, Lofoten Island

The resort’s gourmet restaurant is named “Kjøkkenet” (the Kitchen), and its décor and furnishings are very much in keeping with the room local carpenters built more than a century ago. From the very beginning, the owner’s objective was to recreate the inviting and homey atmosphere of her mother’s kitchen, the heart of her childhood home, and pay a nostalgic tribute to mothers everywhere. The restaurant serves traditional dishes from the North of Norway, based on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Guests seem to love both the ambiance and the food, since they keep coming back again and again.
