In the heart of the Lofoten Islands
In the very heart of Svolvær harbor you will find the island of Lamholmen and Anker Brygge Rorbu Hotel. Anker Brygge is a full-service rorbu facility containing 27 rorbuer and suites, conference facilities, the gourmet restaurant Kjøkkenet, as well as the city's most popular seaside bar & outdoor restaurant. All you need a few minutes very nice walk from the city center of Svolvær.
Our Rorbuer are spacious and modern, and contains mainly two double rooms in each unit. Downstairs a nicely furnished livingroom with SmartTV and a kitchenzone with all you need for a comfortable stay. Doubleroom with queen size bed and a private bath. Upstairs a spacious room with large twin-beds and private bath. you can book one or both rooms. In case you use just one room the other will stay locked. Solid breakfast is included in all rates, (except for over Christmas when most staff are home with their families)
The resort’s gourmet restaurant is named Kjokkenet (The Kitchen), and its décor and furnishings are very much in keeping with the room local carpenters built more than a century ago. From the very beginning, the owner’s objective was to recreate the inviting and homey atmosphere of her mother’s kitchen, the heart of her childhood home, and pay a nostalgic tribute to mothers everywhere.
Seaside Bar with rustic Lofoten atmosphere. The main building dates from around 1860. It is a former fish factory, which used to house fish landing and storage facilities, a salting plant and a barrel-making factory. Today the main building has been completely, but sympathetically renovated.
